Production Planning & Materials Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Production Planning & Materials Manager to join an established and successful organisation based in North Yorkshire, This is a permanent position offering competitive salary and excellent benefits, including 27 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and pension contributions up to 9%.

As the Production Planning and Materials Manager, you will be responsible for:
Responsible for material demand planning, stock control and stores area
Responsible for capacity planningwithin the organisation
Responsible for ensuring that capacity planning is fully integrated within the ERP/MRP systems
Lead capacity planning activities ensuring delivery against operational requirements and which optimise manufacturing efficiency and costs
Refine systems and methods to continually improve plans
Monitor key manufacturing processes and data to identify capacity constraints and trends.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production/materials planning within fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience within a Supply Chain/Procurement role within aerospace/defence would be beneficial. You should ideally have a degree in Engineering or Business Management or have equivalent experience. You should also have excellent analytical skills and be a self-motivated individual that can work to and meet tight deadlines
This role offers a salary £48,000 - £50,000 and excellent benefits, and the business is commutable from York, Thirsk, Scarborough, Malton, and surrounding areas.
