Production Planning & Materials Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Production Planning & Materials Manager to join an established and successful organisation based in North Yorkshire, This is a permanent position offering competitive salary and excellent benefits, including 27 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and pension contributions up to 9%.

As the Production Planning and Materials Manager, you will be responsible for:�

• Responsible for material demand planning, stock control and stores area
• Responsible for capacity planning�within the organisation
• Responsible for ensuring that capacity planning is fully integrated within the ERP/MRP systems
• Lead capacity planning activities ensuring delivery against operational requirements and which optimise manufacturing efficiency and costs
• Refine systems and methods to continually improve plans
• Monitor key manufacturing processes and data to identify capacity constraints and trends.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production/materials planning within fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience within a Supply Chain/Procurement role within aerospace/defence would be beneficial. You should ideally have a degree in Engineering or Business Management or have equivalent experience. You should also have excellent analytical skills and be a self-motivated individual that can work to and meet tight deadlines
This role offers a salary �48,000 - �50,000 and excellent benefits, and the business is commutable from York, Thirsk, Scarborough, Malton, and surrounding areas.
