Production Operative

We're looking for experienced small component assemblers in the Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, area who are immediately available for work. Someone who has worked to extremely fine margins and tolerances would be ideal.
Candidates with soldering, brazing or competent assembly experience will be considered for this role!
The starting salary for this production position is circa �11.44ph, with a comprehensive pay structure in place that rewards progression and learning! Overtime will also be available once you have completed your probationary period.
Production Operative Duties:

• Detailed soldering, measuring to length, cutting, and stripping cable, assembly of small components etc.
• Small scale component assembly
• Follow very basic wiring diagram
• Align and glue components
• Follow detailed inspection procedure: Air bubbles, marks, inclusions, cracks, dents, scratches, using height gauges, cleanliness, electrical insulation & continuity
• Flexible approach to work to meet customer demands.

There are flexible working hours available, 07:30 - 16:00 or 08-30 - 17:00. Monday - Friday (40 hours per week).
