Permanent, full time Production Operatives required at a busy and fast paced site in Henstridge, BA8
  • 3 different shift options
  • Monday - Friday, 06:00 - 14:00 - �23,800 per annum
  • Monday - Friday, 14:00 - 22:00 - �27,352 per annum
  • Monday - Friday, 22:00 - 06:00 - �30,929 per annum
  • Salary review after probation period
  • Own transport is needed as public transport is not an option to get to the site
  • 20 minutes commute by car from Wincanton, Shaftsbury, Mere, Gillingham, Sherborne
  • Breaks paid!
  • Overtime available at time and a half
  • No weekend working

About the job
  • Lots of large machinery tools to be trained on
  • Collating orders, including banding, palletising, bagging and preparing them for loading.
  • Loading, off Loading of plate and parts from the plasma machines
  • Processing customer orders to specifications using a selection of manual machinery
  • Operate a selection of manual and CNC based machinery for metal processing.
  • Operate forklifts, combi-lifts and the crane

The right candidate
  • Previous experience with machinery - machine operator, production operative etc
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable in a role that involves heavy lifting
  • Be competent at reading drawings and following verbal instructions
