We work together as a friendly and supportive team who are willing to assist each other and share best practices to achieve team success.Role and responsibilitiesWe are looking for a Production Operative to help stage and configure products prior to dispatch to customers.This role involves assembly of hardware and uploading firmware for final device assembly according to work instructions. Responsible for performing quality checks to ensure final product is correct ahead of dispatch to customers.Responsible for performing checks on returned faulty products to aid credit returns with suppliers.Responsibilities Ensure products are assembled in accordance with Instructions Ensure conformance to quality standards and procedures Accurately record and enter data into software systems Create and assign device installation tags Ensure all systems are up to date with assigned device serial numbers and IMEI numbers Complete relevant documentation accurately Assess returned faulty products and complete relevant paperwork Light industrial bench assembly work Ensure timely completion of jobs to a high standard Follow all processes for inventory usage and support in the monthly stock take process Assist with ad hoc warehouse activities Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations You may be required to undertake other duties from time to time to meet the needs of the business Requirements Strong attention to detail and accuracy Product trouble shooting Hands on experience with technical background Good organisational and time management skills Basic numeracy skills required IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office A positive can-do attitude and ability to work well as part of a team Be self-motivated and have the ability to complete daily task with minimum supervision Able to read and write in English Telematics industry preferable The hours of work are Monday – Friday 9am – 6.00pmIMMEDIATE STARTPermanent contract -To apply please enclose your cvPackage Details Opportunity to play a key role in the success of a high-growth future unicorn!
