Production Op / Machine Setter

KPA Recruitment are seeking an experienced production / maintenance op for a client based near the Much Wenlock area.

Main Responsibilities:

·        Assist in planning and implementing the daily production activity to ensure that customer delivery requirements and minimum stock levels are met.

·        Operation and maintenance of the machines.

·        Assist in change- over of product, labels, batch codes

·        Operation of batch coding machine to ensure all product is coded appropriately.

·        Learning the machines; their operation, basic maintenance and ensuring regular wash downs are carried out.

·        Ensuring that all finished product and raw materials are stored appropriately.

·        Assist with training and developing the filling team.

·        Ensure hygiene standards are maintained at all times.

·        Proposing improvements to optimise efficiency.

·        Ensuring that all records are kept to ensure compliance with ISO22241 and any other required quality assurance or other standard.

·        Working with the external Health and Safety representative to ensure that all health and safety requirements are met.

Hours of work, Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 7am-4pm.

Temp to perm for the right candidate. Own vehicle will be required for commuting due to rural location.
