Production Manager

Production Manager | Shrewsbury, Shropshire | £45,000 - £55,000 + (Dependent on experience) Pension + Private Healthcare

A long established, successful food processing company is looking for a Production Manager to join their management team.

Reporting to the Factory Manager you will manage production resources and schedules to ensure high quality products are produced in line with customer specifications and conformity of production.

You will also assist in leading customer technical visits and BRC audits and be familiar with HACCP and Internal Auditing principles.

This position also encompasses responsibilities for Health & Safety and hygiene standards across the site and supporting the Factory Manager & Maintenance Team Leader in prioritising site maintenance requirements.

You will also be responsible for managing recruitment for production personnel and undertaking performance reviews as required.

Ideally, you will have experience of a supervisory or management role in a food production environment and the ability to lead and motivate a site wide team, be approachable, diligent and the ability to be a good communicator with a can-do attitude to create and maintain a positive morale and pleasant working environment across the site.
