Production Manager

As a result of increased demand and internal promotion, our client are now looking to partner with a talented Production Manager on a full time, permanent basis. The role is primed for you as an individual who is passionate about LEAN, 5S and other CI methodologies and activities.

What will you be doing as their Production Manager?

• Guiding, overseeing, and nurturing the systems production and test team, fostering a culture of empowerment and accountability.


• Exemplary handling of stakeholder relations, with a strong emphasis on exceptional communication skills.


• Championing and achieving ongoing enhancements in production, showcasing measurable advancements in quality, with the ultimate aim of achieving 100% Right First Time (RFT) outcomes.


• Spearheading initiatives to streamline production processes and establish a LEAN operational framework.


• Proactively identifying areas for improvement and steering the execution of projects to unlock benefits, both within production and across other operational domains. 

What do you need to demonstrate in order to be shortlisted for the Production Manager?

• A minimum of 3 years working within a Team Leadership or Management role within production/manufacturing environment 


• A strategic thinker - our client are looking for someone who can not only understand the 'hands-on' aspect of production management, but also someone who is able to interpret manufacturing data in order to create production plans for immediate and future production capacity plans. 


• Educated to a minimum of HND/HNC level within a engineering related subject 


• Working knowledge of CI and LEAN methodologies
