As a dedicated Production Manager, you'll play a crucial role in guiding the team to achieve production volume, product quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Production Manager Job - Key Responsibilities:
Establish performance benchmarks aligning with site and future state objectives.
Formulate and execute an annual operating plan, incorporating Kaizen opportunities, capital plans, productivity projects, and the production department budget.
Expand the Continuous Improvement Methodology and foster positive engagement through the ongoing development of cell leaders, buyer/planners, quality engineers, and operators.
Oversee product quality, on-time shipment, and production material within assigned cells, collaborating with customers to ensure timely order execution.
Set time goals per production forecasts and schedules.
Manage recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and other actions related to employee performance.
Production Manager Job - Qualifications & Expertise:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Production Management.
Proven experience as a first-line supervisor/manager.
Exceptional leadership and motivation skills, with a proven track record of leading successful teams in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Adept at handling diverse personnel and production challenges.
Proficiency in time and project management, troubleshooting/problem-solving, planning, follow-through, and quality improvement processes.
Effective collaboration skills across various technical and management levels.
