Our client, a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier, is seeking a motivated and experienced Production Manager for their site in Banbury. This role is ideal for a Production Manager looking to elevate their career.
Key Responsibilities for The Production Manager
 

• Manage health and safety aspects for mould teams.


• Comply with Health & Safety and Environmental Policies.


• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949.


• Ensure internal quality control processes are in place


• Ensure customer quality gate targets are met


• Ensure the quality concerns internally and externally are resolved and improved within the time frame


• participate in 8D’s, problem solving and risk management.


• Be responsible and available out of hours to be contacted by three shifts. To monitor three shifts performance / risk.


• Manage performance through KPIs and action plans.


• Operate within budget for area of responsibility.


• Manage headcount and overtime within budget for your team.


• Lead and champion continuous improvement projects to improve departmental performance on safety, uptime, quality, processes and cost down opportunities.


• Lead with the principals of the company’s employee charter


• Manage improvement plan for the areas if EOS is below 80% (where applicable)


• Manage onload / offload teams, training, development versus potential, time and attendance, discipline, team ethics and all HR matters.

Requirements
 

• Must have injection mould experience


• Minimum of 5 years management experience 


• Be organised and methodical and proven ability to coach and develop teams   


• Experienced and proven in team building and improving culture and processes
