We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the production process, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality.


• Develop and implement production schedules to optimize resource utilization and minimize downtime.


• Lead, motivate, and mentor production staff to achieve performance targets and foster a culture of continuous improvement.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.


• Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control, maintenance, and logistics, to resolve production issues and optimize processes.


• Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.


• Implement and maintain best practices in lean manufacturing and process optimisation.

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a Production Manager in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably within the meat industry.


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.


• Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.


• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality standards.
