Requirement for a Production Line Manager to work for a leading manufacturer in the rolling stock industry, delivering a new fleet of trains according to strict timescales while reporting locally into the Head of Production and Internationally to the Project Manager.
Situation
Ford & Stanley Recruitment are partnered with a leader in the international market for the design, manufacture, maintenance and supply of equipment and components for railway systems. Due to structural changes in the way projects are being worked upon, the requirement needed for a Production Line Manager is integral to managing the success of the project.
International travel will be required for onboarding and upskilling, these periods will be broken down into manageable chunks but the successful candidate needs to understand that over 2024, they could be spending 2-3 months in total in Spain.
Key Responsibilities
Location: Newport.
Working Practice: Monday – Friday – Full time Onsite. Travel (including international) will be required to other locations.
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (dependent upon experience)
