The Company: Here at Theo James Recruitment, we are working alongside an engineering organisation who is a premier provider of industrial products and services known for its commitment to quality and innovation. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:




  • Evaluate the condition of products/components.

  • Generate disassembly notes/basic initial inspection report.

  • Rebuild and test products/components in accordance with company procedures.

  • Complete rebuild and test report, detailing criteria tested and readings obtained, for verification.

  • Utilize specialist test rigs such as airflow, liquid fuel, compressor, pump, hydraulic.

  • Contribute to uniform design standards and procedures for product development.

  • Support Sales with design and costing input for standard and non-standard products.

  • Manage project milestones and documentation transmissions.



Additional Duties & Responsibilities:




  • Provide manufacturing support as needed.

  • Support a continuous improvement culture.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers, suppliers, and other departments.

  • Ensure all work meets the requirements of Osborne Engineering's Health & Safety systems & procedures.

  • Continually improve and attend training courses to enhance working knowledge.

  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as required.



Knowledge, Skills, Education, Training and Experience:




  • Proven teamwork skills.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills to meet departmental and business objectives and deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Previous experience working within a factory environment is desirable.

  • PC Skills: Data entry, Excel, Word is desirable, with a willingness to learn essential.
