Nova Talent are delighted to be working alongside our client, a world leading provider of Communication Solutions within the Aviation & Defence sectors. Together we are recruiting a Production Engineer based at the UK Head Office in Market Deeping.



The successful candidate will be accountable for liaising with the Engineering and Production teams to ensure smooth introduction and manufacture and testability of products.



A bit about what you will be doing:




  • Contribute to product development to help ensure manufacturabilty and testability of products when in production.

  • Participate in the design of production test systems to ensure they meet the production process test requirements.

  • Lead the introduction of new products into production, liaising with all internal stakeholders  to ensure a smooth transition of the new product into production.

  • Working with the Production Team, take the lead on recommendations for improvements to manufacturing processes and efficiencies.

  • Support and maintain production processes and production test systems.

  • Gain understanding and deliver support the company’s manufacturing sub-contractors to ensure their manufacturing and test processes are aligned.



What we are looking for:




  • Educated to Degree level in Engineering or Science discipline.

  • A strong communicator with solid relationship building skills.

  • Knowledge and experience in Production Engineering, particularly in the manufacture and test of complex electronic products, printed circuit board assemblies, surface mount assemblies and mechanical design and materials.

  • Technical knowledge within product design and test in electronic products would be ideal.

  • Experience managing and mitigating risks utilising specific techniques for engineering projects would be desirable.
