Job Title: Accessory Product Specialist
We are recruiting for an Accessory Product Specialist to join our Tamworth based client. You will be joining a manufacturer and distributor of genuine automotive Parts and Accessories, the company being a key subsidiary of one of the top 6 global automotive companies. Reporting to the Sales Manager, your role will be to identify opportunities to develop and grow the accessory business.
Salary: Hybrid (After 26 weeks) £45,000 + Benefits
Benefits:
- Annual Lunch Allowance of £#####.00 per annum (this is in addition to basic salary)
- 22 days holiday plus statutory Bank Holidays
- Extra day's holiday earned each subsequent year, up to a ceiling of 28 days
- Hours: Monday to Thursday 09.00 - 17.30, Friday 09.00 - 15.00 with half hour lunch each day (total 37.5 working hours per week)
- 6 month probation period

- Hybrid Working available after 26 weeks (subject to Manager's discretion)
Role Overview:
The role entails:
Identifying opportunities to develop and grow the accessory business
Working with all stakeholders to ensure accessories are available for launches
Collaborating with other businesses to maximize the accessory opportunity
Keeping up to date with market and competitor activity and trends
Key Tasks:
Being the "Go To" person for all accessory related items
Regular communication with the business on new accessory development
Coordinating requests for accessory development between departments and HQ
Producing sales forecasts for accessory business
Looking for synergies across the business to reduce complexity and cost
Assisting Operations Team in supplier and inventory management
Ensuring timely pricing completion on relevant products
Reporting and presenting challenges/opportunities to management
Experience Required:
The ideal candidate should have:
Tangible experience in account or product management, preferably in the accessory business
Effective communication and influencing skills at all levels
Strong Excel & numeracy skills
Attention to detail
Ability to analyze and monitor performance
Active Team Player
