Product Security Engineer

I am currently recruiting for a Product Security Engineer to work near Preston on future aerospace projects. Please apply below if you are an engineer with a background in a highly regulated industry, with an understanding of safety/security of complex products.Key responsibilities:Understanding business and product risk context (typical business drivers, security threats and implementation challenges)Judging risk at a technical and business process level and clearly articulate both verbally and in writing to key stakeholdersReviewing effectiveness of controls and proposing proportionate security improvementsAnalysing and researching security technologies to support the development of innovative solutionsApplying standard frameworks or relevant intellectual property rights (IPR)/standard approachesLeading the creation of risk assessment/reportsExperience:A background within either Systems Engineering, Risk Management, Product Safety or Reliability Engineering/in a highly regulated industrySTEM Degree or equivalentAbility to articulate and pitch advice, often at a technical level, directly to key customer stakeholdersExcellent interpersonal skills as well as both written and verbal communication and presentation skillsAbility to prioritise workload, work well under pressure and concurrently manage both customer and BAE Systems expectations*** Please note this role require UK defence security clearance to SC level as a minimum, you must be SC clearable to apply for this role ***JBRP1_UKTJ
