CK Group are recruiting for a Product Sales Specialist to join a scientific equipment organisation on a permanent basis.Location:Candidates for the role should be based in the South of the UKTravel:This role is a field-based position, with candidates expected to be out in the field 4 days per week visiting customers. The other day in the week will be focussed on admin and diary planning.Package:Competitive base salary, quarterly bonus scheme, company car, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays and other benefits. In this role, you will be required to promote & sell science equipment into the Education Sector in the London / South area – Including but not necessarily exclusively to: Secondary Schools, MATS, Colleges and Academies. This a great opportunity for an experienced sales professional or laboratory scientist looking to transition into sales.Your main duties will be to:Maximise on all new business opportunities with a focus on the top tier education establishments as well as maintaining the growth of the existing business. You will build and develop strong, key relationships within the Education sector.Run events/workshops/exhibitions to strategically target large groups of potential customers.Comfortable and confident in delivering science-based content to Technicians, Teachers and Pupils on a regular basis.Manage your own diary, pipeline and be proactive.Consistently hit sales and margin targets and KPIs as agreed with and set by the European Managing Director.Work closely with other team members to develop the sales structure including upselling and cross selling where required.Your Background:The ideal candidate for this role will have a:Scientific degree background.Experience as a Science Technician or Teacher within the education sector.Excellent communication and people skills.Full UK Driving license is required.Willingness to travel is required.Apply:It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
