End DateTuesday 21 May 2024Salary Range£57,546 - £63,940 We support flexible working - click here for more information on flexible working options Flexible Working OptionsJob ShareJob Description SummaryThe Product Owner will lead a feature team to develop new product and propositions and enhance existing products that will help develop the right culture in Lloyds Banking Group, such as performance, recognition, and health & wellbeing.Job DescriptionJOB TITLE:Product OwnerLOCATIONS:Halifax or LeedsSALARY: £57,546 - £63,940HOURS:Full TimeWORKING PATTERN:Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.The Product Owner will lead a feature team to develop new product and propositions and enhance existing products that will help develop the right culture in Lloyds Banking Group, such as performance, recognition, and health & wellbeing.The role will report to the Thrive at Work Lab lead and is responsible to oversee the release of incremental value for many product features, with the primary aim of delivering value to colleagues and stakeholders, by ensuring the team focuses on the right priorities.Working closely with the centres of excellence the Product Owner will play a pivotal part in enhancing the overall experience for colleagues employed at Lloyds Banking Group.Role responsibilities:Supports development of Team OKRs and provides product performance and benefits realisation dataDefines user-stories at Team level to meet customer needsWorks with Customer Journey Manager to analyse user stories for customer journey improvementsProvides input into overall Product vision and Product roadmapPrioritises, refines and manages Team Product backlogAccountable for Product change governance (e.g., CMIA / SPFIA) and Business Readiness activities (e.g., training and comms, testing and readiness for implementation) for their respective features, journeys or technology components. Note: PO’s are accountable but activities to be delivered by the whole ‘team’.Investigates incidents and develops contingency plansImplements development frameworks for their area, coach and mentor others in the organisationWorks with Integrators when change is particularly largeAdditional responsibilities for Technical Team Product Owners:Owns and leads the product backlog for a Group-wide technology asset Develops technical design for the productLeads all product riskDefines the segmentation and supplier strategyEnvironment Planning and other technical activitiesWhat we’ll need from youPersonally meets customer needs related to standard products and services and/or supervises a team of customer advisors.Delivers outcomes by leading others and working within established systems.Uncovers emerging issues and/or needs and identifies potential causes, related issues, key collaborators and barriers.Analyses and evaluates the feasibility/relevance of proposed sophisticated financial products, then develops and amends as necessary with guidance from senior colleagues and/or supervises activities performed by a financial product development/specialist team.Analyses and evaluates the feasibility/relevance of proposals for complex products/services, then develops and amends as necessary with mentorship from senior colleagues and/or supervises activities performed by a product development/specialist team.Investigates standard and non-routines incidents and reports and provides experienced advice to more senior colleagues while coordinating with all internal functions to facilitate effective implementation of compliance programmes to minimise risk exposures and ensure adherence with regulatory standards.Develops and/or delivers a contingency plan for significant aspects of the risk management and/or control process.Identifies and evaluates complex expertise-led solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs.Identifies shortcomings, then suggests and implements improvements to existing business practices, while developing and delivering projects or a workstream within the organisation's change management programme with guidance from senior colleagues.Takes ownership for implementing a team's formal development framework with guidance from senior colleagues, while informally mentoring others throughout the organisation in area of expertise and pursuing and investing in opportunities for own personal development.About working for usOur focus is to ensure we're inclusive every day, building an organisation that reflects modern society and celebrates diversity in all its forms.
