Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

Salary: up to £29,000

Our client is seeking a Product Owner & Developer to join their friendly team and be part of their ever expanding, fast paced business. The successful candidate will be taking part in a dynamic role, responsible for managing the full product cycle, negotiating with suppliers and working effectively with stakeholders at all levels to execute new product launches.

Main Duties:

• Working closely with Product Manager and Product Developer to execute new product launches
• Responsible for costing, design and logistics of bespoke products designed specifically for clients
• Working with a wide range of bespoke customers and large department stores daily to ensure the supply of competitive products at commercial prices in line with briefs
• Creating strong working relationships with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders to ensure effective execution
• Managing high volumes of workload to meet deadlines whilst promoting an excellent company brand
• Problem solving to overcome potential barriers to product launch
• Promoting company brand by way of attending shows, creating marketing campaigns and tasting sessions within stores
• Gathering customer and client feedback to ensure continuous product improvement

Essential:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced and hands on environment
• Possess excellent organisation and communication skills
• Confident in communicating with stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to work effectively both individually and within a team
• Able to adapt and learn quickly with support provided by your team

Desirable:

• Experience with negotiating prices with suppliers
• Exposure to implementation of a product
• Experience working within the food industry
