Product Manager

Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently working with a growing and talented award-winning IT company who provide services to a global client base. THE BASICS: As Product Manager this could be your first or second product management role. You can expect mentoring and support from the existing product management team. If you’re a product manager with a technical background in software and/or hardware solutions, you could help the teams to establish and deliver a roadmap around products covering several emerging and existing products and services. As Product Manager you’ll be working to set up and own common product management responsibilities e.g. roadmaps, backlogs, Scrum, Kanban boards, requirements gathering, feasibility studies etc. You’ll work with the cutting edge of a high growth industry with an opportunity to shape the technical vision of a large cloud-based platform You will have the opportunity to work on solutions for some of the biggest and most well know sports and entertainment brands in the world You’ll need to be prepared to travel to other UK offices York, London and Birmingham. THE TECHNICAL STUFF: You will have experience in a technical role where software and/or hardware is a key component Experience of common Product Management concepts including Agile, Scrum, Kanban and Product Lifecycle High level organisational and resource management skills Capability of participating in, and driving meetings/presentations Experience of coordinating with other teams to achieve a common goal, with great communication skills Bachelors or Master’s degree in any field with demonstrated achievement, engineering or computer science disciplines preferred If you have experience in a technical role within a broadcast, content delivery, content protection or a similar technological realm within the broadcast and media industry along with a working understanding of cloud computing this is highly desired.
