Job DescriptionHere at EMIS, we have a truly exciting opportunity for you to join our highly capable and talented Community Pharmacy product team as a Product Manager on a permanent basis. Responsible providing essential technology to 5,8000 pharmacies across the UK health sectors, we are looking for a Product Manager to drive quality of products in our growing community pharmacy function. You will have extensive experience driving the development of products through understanding customer insights and stakeholder requirements. If you want to be part of a company where you are valued and a role that allows you to see your contribution come to life improving current and future health outcomes through product management, then apply today!What you’ll do:As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle of our Proscript Connect software solution that supports community pharmacy teams to manage the day-to-day needs of their business.Working with agile principles, you will be responsible for working proactively with colleagues in the product team, development teams, internal stakeholders and most importantly our customers. Your role will be to oversee refinement of the product management backlog, defining Epics and refining features to create a stable product roadmap which maintains a strategic focus in line with customer & stakeholder requirements. Other key responsibilities and accountabilities will include;Accountability for the end-to-end product lifecycle managementGather market research and customer feedback, this is a key part of the role and will require a solution mindset alongside the ability to capture detailed requirementsProduct development – regular engagement with users and stakeholders throughout the software lifecycle to ensure the creation of products and features that delight our users and solve real challenges and problems facing our customers.Communicating your vision of the features to internal and external stakeholdersUsing agile development principles, work collaboratively to define features, sequenced and delivered in a way that will deliver optimal customer and business value.Who you’ll beWe need you to be an experienced Product Manager with a passion for innovation and developing products through the entire product lifecycle. You will be inquisitive, understanding the needs of our customers and internal stakeholders to deliver the product roadmap to the market and the wider business.Having worked in an agile environment previously, you will have a proven record of grasping the product element and drive integration. Collaboration is essential; you will be able to demonstrate previous experience of engaging with product, technologists and operational teams where you’re the focal point for the product. Other professional and technical skills we are looking for you to demonstrate include;A real teamwork ethos and strong collaboration.Knowledge and experience of working in Agile and/or SAFePrevious experience of working with stakeholders and external customers to deliver high quality productsOutstanding relationship building and people skills, with the ability to present sometimes complex problems in a clear and concise wayKnowledge of the community pharmacy sector would be desirable but not essential to your successWhat do we give youWe offer benefits which include 25 days holiday, 6% pension, option to buy or sell up to 5 days holiday.A culture where you can thrive.
