Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Category Business Manager at The Change Organisation Ltd within the Procurement Team Located in Whitstable, you will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle, including Stock, Pricing, strategy development, product development, and launch coordination. conducting market research, and ensuring product success through effective project management that is in line with The Change Organisation's strategic growth plans
This role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams, adhering to P&L responsibilities and reporting against KPI's to the Purchasing Director
The successful candidate will be commercially aware, have a positive mindset, be proactive in their work, ambitious to grow and to learn while showing an excellent attention to detail
Role Highlights
Attend any Vendor training or events where relevant.
Effectively manage the forecast and planning of stock profiles
Support sales teams as a product overlay
Regular engagement with supplier contacts
Engage with our marketing team to strategize campaigns to the channel.
Be the product expert on the portfolio and be confident to train sales to be self-sufficient where possible
To be successful in this role you will have some of the following skills and experience, and the desire to develop in other areas
Strong product management skills
Previous experience in IT category or product management
Market research and analysis skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
Able to work well under pressure
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Commercially aware
Experience of working within IT channel
Confident decision maker
Numerically literate
Strong Microsoft Office knowledge
