Anglo American’s purpose is to reimagine mining to improve people’s lives and is committed to creating a Living Mine that brings positive value to the people and environment where we operate.Job DescriptionWe are seeking aProduct Manager (Processing Applications) who will be responsible for managing the end to end product management and optimisation of processing-specific applications, providing technical expertise to enhance processing operations.This position will see you become part of a highly specialised team, who consistently push the boundaries of digital, technology, and automation innovation to drive a smarter, safer, and more sustainable enterprise.Core Responsibilities (amongst others): Partnering with key stakeholders to define the strategy, vision and roadmap for growing the existing product and scaling this globally.Manage and support processing applications used for refining and manufacturing operations.Collaborate with processing teams to optimise application workflows and performance.Advise with technical support for troubleshooting and resolving processing application issues.Stay updated with industry-specific processing applications and technologies.Conduct training sessions to educate processing staff on the effective use of applications.Evaluate and recommend new processing applications to enhance operational efficiency.QualificationsComprehensive knowledge of effective portfolio managementEffective E2E product managementEffective stakeholder managementEffective vendor managementUnderstanding of software development processes (Agile, Scrum) and methodologies. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g, Azure DevOps, JIRA, Aha!).Awareness of enterprise data and has demonstrated success of working with data sources in mining, oil and gas, geoscience or similar disciplines, data integration, data lake and data quality workflows.Applications relevant to the mining industry & mining sector knowledgeData analytical tools and techniques to create accurate management reports for decision-making.#LI-AB2Additional InformationWho we are
