Product Governance Manager

Our client is a leading global asset management house. Due to continued company growth and success, they are now looking to recruit a Product Governance Manager to join their high performing Product team on a permanent basis.Playing a key regulatory role within the Product function, the Product Governance Manager will assume the following remit:Continue to enhance the Product Governance and Value Assessment Framework to meet the highest regulatory requirements and expectations and protect investors best interestsRepresenting the Product Governance team at a series of Committee meetingsContributing to ideas for investment product “deep dives” with the Head of InvestmentsDrafting quarterly performance reports to be presented at Product Governance CommitteeProvide ongoing Product Governance monitoring of all products and management of Product Governance processes, policies and proceduresWork in partnership with internal Product Development, Compliance, Investment Risk, and Fund ManagersLiaise with and work in partnership with external stakeholders including the FCAEmbedding the Product Governance framework within BAU activitiesMaintain a good awareness of investment markets and regulatory / governance frameworksEnsuring adherence to legal requirements, the maintenance of compliance and the good conduct of the businessThe Product Governance Manager will meet the following criteria:Strong experience within a product governance related role in the asset management sectorConfidence in building strong working relationshipsBackground in conducting Value Assessment reviews and producing Value Assessment statementsAwareness of the regulatory environment within financial services and applicable FCA and EU regulation e.g. FCA PROD,SFDRKnowledge of Product Governance regulatory requirements and best practiseStrong understanding of investment productsHolds the IMC or equivalentThis is an excellent opportunity for a Product Governance professional looking for the next step on their career ladder.If you believe your experience meets the criteria of Product Governance Manager, please apply with your CV.Mason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
