We’re looking for a
Production Development Coordinator
(PDC) to join our team.
As PDC you will be responsible to contributing towards the smooth running of the critical path and full product cycle. You will have a detailed focus on PO placement and bulk production intake tracking, with the main objective to achieve on time delivery whilst acting as a bridge between the PD, Logistics, Global Sales and Global Merchandising teams.
Liaising with an international supply base and Global Sales teams you will raise purchase orders and track production through ex factory date. Ensuring key milestones in the production process are met and securing on time delivery. You will monitor and keep track of products on Radley systems, capture weekly updates from suppliers, report on weekly intake to the wider business and liaise closely with the Logistics and Global Merchandising team.
You will be proactive in responding internally and externally to PO requests, acting on any updates in a timely manner and maintaining positive relationships throughout.
At Radley, we've adopted hybrid working – which means you’ll join us for three days a week, at our HO in Central London and for the other two days – you can work remotely.
Key responsibilities
Bulk production purchase order raising and management on newly instated ERP system Microsoft BC. Raising POs in line with critical path deadlines. Clear communication to our partners and accurate PO management throughout the season.
Daily communication with our supply base regarding development and purchase orders – keeping critical path deadlines on track and problem solving. Understanding the implications of each deadline and highlighting impact to intake if any of these are not met.
Leading weekly production calls with our partners, alongside creating and maintaining the company production delivery schedule.
Tracking production via weekly delivery schedules. Working closely with supply base, our freight forwarders and internal Logistics to achieve the best possible deliveries. Keeping the wider business updated in weekly Intake meeting.
Actioning approval to ship on our freight forwarder’s Order Booking Management system.
Work closely with all teams internally to ensure the product life cycle is successfully followed through to launch.
Clear communication and strong relationships maintained between Global Sales teams, Logistics, PD and Global Merchandising.
Liaising with wholesale teams and supply base to ensure on time ex factory for direct customer pick ups. Ensuring additional processes needed for this are followed and documented. Working flexibly to react to changing requirements
Skills
It would be a great head start if our candidates have the following skills and attributes, but if you’re not quite ticking every box, don’t let that put you off, we still want to hear from applicants with a keen interest in our business.
2-3 years experience within a similar role covering either Production or Logistics.
Strong attention to detail.
Great time management skills, able to prioritise workload and communicate clearly on upcoming deadlines.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and works well under pressure
Proactive and forward thinking attitude.
Strong Maths and Excel skills.
Positive Team Player.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Flexible attitude and commitment to getting the job done.
