Job Description
We are excited to be looking for a
Product Compliance Specialist
to join SEON’s legal and compliance team to help us create a fraud-free world by researching regulatory compliance requirements and supporting SEON’s internal product teams in developing new and innovative products and services. As a
Product Compliance Specialist,
you will work as part of the Legal and Compliance team while working collaboratively with other teams across SEON, such as Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Marketing and our external legal ecosystem.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a mission-led startup where you are encouraged to grow and develop your skills while impacting the cybersecurity space.
What you’ll do:
Monitor, interpret, and advise on product-related laws, regulations, standards and industry best practices, impacting SEON’s products and planned features, including but not limited to AML/CTF, iGaming, ID Verification and Biometric data processing;
Leverage your technical and regulatory acumen to integrate compliance into our processes and regulations;
Stay updated on industry-relevant regulatory changes and keep in touch with external parties (such as consultancy firms, auditor firms, testing laboratories) to ensure compliance;
Become a bridge between regulatory compliance and software development: Map regulatory requirements with technical measures;
Embed product compliance into existing or new processes and systems, proactively identifying and resolving compliance-related matters;

Provide essential contributions and input to crucial product decisions for SEON’s executive team;

Assist in applications for compliance certification and regulatory approval (E.g., iGaming permits);
Research and monitor SaaS/Software industry compliance requirements (relevant regulations, standards, frameworks).
What you bring:
You'll be a strong communicator with a technical background. You’ll work closely with various stakeholders, assessing existing and new draft regulations, consulting with internal teams, and sharing knowledge externally, which are vital responsibilities. Analytical and investigative skills, understanding complex theoretical relationships, and being able to summarise the findings in the easiest possible way are essential for decision-making.
You should be able to adapt to the evolving regulatory environment and be willing to develop the role further due to the constantly changing boundaries of laws.

Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a SaaS environment, with technical insight and affinity;
Proficient in interpreting and simplifying complex information, multitasking, and effectively communicating product requirements to stakeholders;
