This role sits at the heart of our industry and regulation platform, contributing to high-profile initiatives that drive SSE's large-scale transformation.What is the Role?As a Product Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving successful delivery of products within SSE. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, utilizing agile methodologies to ensure delivery. Your analytical skills and understanding of the energy industry will be essential in identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimizing outcomes:- Develop and maintain documentation, including user stories and product backlogs.- Conduct requirement gathering sessions and translate business needs to actionable plans.- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks, resolve dependencies and mitigate risks.- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance delivery efficiency.- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment of the delivery objectives.What do you need?- Experience with Agile methodologies and proficiency in Business Process Mapping.- Understanding of Agile software development practices, including Scrum and Kanban frameworks.- Outstanding coordination abilities, with a track record of collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders in business and technical domains.- Professional knowledge of the Energy sector, including key market trends and business drivers.- Experience in finance related solutions.- Experience in supporting team facilitation and management tools, e.g. Azure DevOps / Jira.About our BusinessSSE IT underpins the technology needs of all the different businesses that make up the SSE group.
