We are currently looking to recruit a Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist to join our growing team and we are looking for a motivated self-starter who is passionate about what they do.The ideal candidate will already be working in a similar role and environment. You must have good attention to detail and a methodical and organised approach to work. You will be experienced in procurement & supply chains and able to thrive under pressure with good problem-solving skills.Role responsibilities: Serve as the primary contact to the FE. Building relationships with suppliers and negotiate prices & terms Create a supply chain (preferred supplier/back up supplier) Stock planning and forecastingEstablish and manage a core product list (continuity lines, ensure best sellers have a healthy stock level)Place POs with factories for stock lines, customer bespoke orders & orders being placed specifically for large customersEnsure product testing requirements are met and that product labelling adheres to global testing/compliance/safety requirementsManage QC/ QA issues and resolve any problems which may ariseManage factory auditsApprove factory PI and agree factory shipment dates for critical pathPrice list management - update wholesale prices and ensure price list is up to date.Arrange testing samples to ensure stock can be printed in house prior to order being placedArrange pre-production and production / shipment samples for warehouse stock lines.Provide samples which allow the Sales Team to pre-sellManage excess stock and clearance lines Key skills & Experience
Previous experience in a similar role with experience of pricing and working with overseas factories.Good knowledge of critical path management / liaising with buyers, factories and sales is key.First class communication skills both verbal and written.Works well under pressure with a can-do attitude.Strong time management skills.Highly organised, efficient and can work to tight deadlines, within a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail.Must be pro-active, able to use initiative.
