Procurement Sourcing Specialist for Financial Firm

This leading UK Financial Services firm is looking for a Procurement Specialist, who is a strong indirect generalist, to join their fast-paced and dynamic team. Working with thousands of companies across the UK, if you are looking to elevate your career and build your skillset, this role offers the chance to work alongside an ambitious team of like-minded people, whilst liaising with well-established stakeholders, to help build your portfolio.As an indirect generalist, you will have experience across a range of sectors, including but not limited to, facilities management, IT, maintenance services, and utilities. You will be an integral part of the team who is responsible for the implementation of procurement strategy, and will play a vital role in driving breakthrough results through development and delivery of sourcing and contracting strategies to drive innovation.You will:Be responsible for sourcing and contracting strategies across a range of categories and suppliers, including but not limited to, Market Research, Professional Services and MarketingBuild and develop long term relationships with high profile-stakeholders both internally and externally to the businessBe responsible for the delivery of low-risk sourcing activities, ensuring compliance and alignment with business strategyYou must:Have a clear understanding of end-to-end procurement processes, and have previous experience of using procurement systemsHave experience of non-IT categories, including but not limited to, Market Research, Marketing and Professional ServicesBe confident communicating with key stakeholders and internal functionsOffering world-class development opportunities, alongside regular performance reviews, the procurement department offers the chance for swift career progression. This role supports hybrid working, providing flexibility for a strong work-life balance.
