Procurement Officer

County Durham

�30,000 - �43,000 per annum

Sellick Partnership are currently assisting in the recruitment of a Procurement Officer for an organisation in County Durham on a hybrid basis. This is a permanent, full time position paying up to �43,000.

Responsibilities of the Procurement Officer include:

  • Provide sound procurement advice and excellent customer service
  • Procure goods, services and works at a national level
  • Work with stakeholders to draft tender packs to ensure contracts placed achieve value for money, cost savings and improved service levels
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier contract
  • Use knowledge, expertise, and research to understand the product or service you are involved with

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong public sector procurement experience
  • CIPS Level 4
  • A good understanding of contracts management
  • Excellent communication skills
