Job DescriptionManage and oversee all procurement activities within the department.Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness.Collaborate with stakeholders to determine procurement needs and specifications.Conduct supplier evaluations and negotiations to secure advantageous terms.Ensure adherence to procurement policies and regulations.Manage supplier relationships and maintain a supplier database.Prepare and present detailed reports on procurement activities to senior management.Lead, guide, and mentor the procurement team to achieve departmental goals. The Successful Applicant A successful Procurement Manager should have: CIPS qualificationExperience in procurement within the Transport & Distribution industry (ideal) Indirect Procurement experienceExcellent negotiation and networking skills.Outstanding organisational and multitasking abilities.
