The Group is currently ranked second in the world for nuclear engineering.Job DescriptionA long-term strategic role for an SC-Cleared senior Procurement Manager within the Public Sector,you will be developing and implementing strategic procurement plans aligned with the Client goals andobjectives, under multiple NEC4 Framework Agreements.Responsibilities:Lead Procurement delivery using the regulated procedures including the Competitive Dialogue Procurement ProcedureLead Procurement delivery in accordance with the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011Prepare and assess Tenders including associated reportsDevelop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with Client goals and objectives.Lead procurement strategy development, including category management, supplier selection, and contract negotiation.Provide leadership and guidance to the procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to identify and evaluate potential vendors, assess their capabilities, and negotiate favourable terms and pricing in accordance with the frameworks.Develop and implement vendor management strategies to optimise supplier relationships and drive value for the Client.My profileQualification, Special Skills or Experience:5 to 10 years’ experience in the management and delivery of major construction project procurements in the Defence SectorExperienced in delivering Procurements in accordance with the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011.Experienced in the delivery of Procurements using the regulated procedures including the Competitive Dialogue Procurement ProcedureExperienced in the preparation and production of Tender ReportsSupply Chain/Quantity Surveying Academic /professional Qualifications (CSCP, CPSM, CIPS preferred)Good knowledge of Procurement /Contract law and in the application of the NEC3/4 conditions of contractDue to the nature of this role the successful candidate will require Security clearance.
