With a diverse and varied client base the business services some exciting markets including Personal Care, Household and Institutional Cleaning, Energy Extraction, Agriculture, Lubricants and Metal Working.Currently we’re recruiting for a passionate and driven Procurement Manager to join the site leadership team. Reporting into the experienced and respected Supply Chain Director this is a role that offers Procurement professionals great opportunities for career advancement.Key responsibilities for the Procurement Manager:Managing multiple company procurement projectsPlanning and implementing sourcing strategies to ensure optimised results for the businessDeveloping, nurturing and cultivating new supplier relationshipsEnsuring that the company is provided with the highest quality goods and services at the most competitive rateLeadership of cross-functional teams and expectations to work closely with other departments such as Finance, Quality, and OperationsWorking in a fast-paced environment whilst handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlinesWorking on-site (ideally 5 days per week) from the Manchester OfficeKeeping up to date with key market trends and supply chain dynamics in the industryTo apply to work as our next Sales Engineer please ensure you have the following:Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related fieldCIPS L4Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience manufacturing environmentFMCG experience is viewed positivelyDemonstrated knowledge of procurement processes, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier managementProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement MRP software applicationsStrong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as the ability to lead cross-functional teamsWorking as a Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in the success of the businesses objectives. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone ambitious and driven. The working pattern is Monday to Friday and alongside a generous basic salary of around £45,000pa the company offers several excellent benefits.Location: Manchester | Salary: 45000 - 47000 per year | Job type: Permanent
