My client are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their fast-paced business in Northampton. The role will involve coaching and leading a team, category management, and driving change and transformation.

This Procurement Manager role will be based in Northampton.

Description

• Develop a category management strategy for the procurement function, based in Northampton
• Develop and lead a commercial and customer-focused team - c. 3 direct reports, 7+ indirect reports
• Sourcing and contract negotiation with suppliers (typically low cost country Inc. Far East)
• NPD focused, ensuring top-tier products are sourced sustainably for customer
• Keep up to date with innovation and market trends

Profile

The successful candidate for this Procurement Manager role, will have strong leadership experience and qualities.

In addition, experience of managing an sourcing within a low-cost country supply base is key e.g., PPE.

Commercially focused and strong stakeholder management skills within a matrix supply chain operation.

Job Offer

�60,000 - �70,000 plus car allowance, c. 15-20% bonus (dependant on business performance), pension up to 12% matched and family private healthcare.

This role will require 3 days per week on-site in Northampton.
