💲 Salary/Rate: £75 - £ 81 per hr (inside IR35)
📍 Location: Hybrid Aldermaston, nr Reading
⏱️ Contract Duration: 8 months

We are currently looking for a Procurement Manager for our government client. This Procurement Manager role is hybrid, based between working on site in Aldermaston 2 days per week, and the remainder of the week working remotely.

The contract for the Procurement Manager position is initially for 8 months with potential to extend, offering an hourly rate within the range of £ 75 to £ 81, operating inside IR35.

Security Clearance: Security Check ("SC Clearance")

This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile/Responsibilities:

• Good knowledge of Public Procurement and tendering
• Excellent Stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of Public sector procurement regulation and experience of applying these to contracts and procurements.
• An understanding of, and experience in procuring across various categories
• An understanding of and experience in managing contracts
• Knowledge of and experience in using Crown Commercial Service procurement frameworks
• Experience in liaising with a broad range of government stakeholders, and their suppliers
• Experience in delivering high value procurements.
• The ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams, bring together people and views to inform decision making.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people.
• Has undertaken competitive tendering in public/private sectors.
• Experience justifying exceptions.
• Understanding of regulations
• Computer literate
• Experience with inception to award or full life cycle experience
