Procurement Manager

Our client based in Birmingham who is a housing provider within 15 local authorities is recruiting for a Procurement Manager. The role involves managing the procurement of high value and strategic contracts for works, goods, and services. It will involve some hybrid working, visiting sites, and meeting with suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have:

Comprehensive understanding of procurement and contracts law and best practice.

Experience of working knowledge of social value generation .

Experience of risk management through the procurement process.

Negotiating with suppliers on signifcant levels.

Hold a degree or professional qualification in relation to procurement or membership of a professional body.
