The business has a reputable brand we all know and use their products and services, being highly regarded in their industry, so are looking for an ambitious, dynamic and high achieving Procurement Manager. You will be joining at an exciting time of growth, new ways of how procurement approach things and as they modernise certain areas of operation to keep carbon footprint as low as possible.You will be exposed to a large variety of indirect spend, such as: IT, Telecoms, FM, Professional Services, Marketing, EV Charging Ports, Fleet, HR to name a few. Due to the variety, they need someone who can take on different categories, juggling multiple projects and dealing with stakeholders across the business.Role and responsibilities:Reporting into and supporting the Group Head of ProcurementWork with and manage internal stakeholders in the business, building strong and lasting relationshipsManage multiple projects at once, whether strategically, project based or reactivelyDrive for best commercial value with suppliers but keeping in mind the best service delivery into the companyBeing able to handle and adapt to a very fast pace ever changing environment Conduct full end to end procurement from initial engagement, right through to contract signature and on-going SRMContinuously look to, and suggest policy and process improvements across the teamCreate your own opportunities, having that proactive and forward thinking approachIdentify and present cost saving, or service improvements to key stakeholdersExperience and requirements: Broad experience across generalist indirect categoriesFull cradle to crave, end-to-end procurement examples across different areas of spendProven cost savings and improvements made in previous rolesWorked in a fast paced, large business that have large spend valuesAbility to engage, manage and influence senior level stakeholdersStrategic mindset to procurement,Highly ambitious, always looking for the next project or reasonably take on more workAdaptable to change and being able to manage your time accordinglyStrategic mindset, forward thinking and analytical approachAble to work as part of a team, but also able to work autonomously on projectsMCIPS is ideal, but not essential
