Procurement Lead Role Overview: Strategic Sourcing Leadership: Spearhead major expenditure projects, collaborating closely with stakeholders for optimal outcomes.Compliance Management: Ensure all activities align with regulations and internal policies, maintaining integrity and transparency.Contract Development: Create high-quality contracts with strategic suppliers, emphasising value for money solutions.Risk Mitigation: Identify and address risks throughout procurement processes, maximising opportunities for success.Savings Target Achievement: Drive delivery towards annual savings targets, demonstrating fiscal responsibility.Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships internally and externally for effective collaboration.Guidance and Mentorship: Provide expert advice on procurement policies and procedures, promoting efficiency and effectiveness.Deputisation: Act as deputy for the Procurement Manager when required, showcasing versatility and readiness.Organisational Support: Travel to various sites within our organisation as needed, ensuring accessibility and support.
