Procurement Lead, Strategic Procurement (Professional Services Category) – Financial Services Brand – London (3x per week) - £100,000-£120,000 + Bonus
Over the last few years the Global Sourcing team has achieved significant savings across mainstream Professional Services spend areas such as HR & Recruitment. Now the firm is seeking similar success across more niche sub-categories such as Legal, Finance, Tax, Audit & Consultancy, and this is where you can add value. With a vast yet untapped spend area spanning Professional Services sub-categories, this is a fantastic opportunity for an Professional Services sourcing expert to make a colossal impact.
As Procurement Lead, Strategic Procurement you will:-
Design & implement innovative category strategies, best-in-class strategic sourcing and supplier performance management programmes to achieve € Multi-Million cost savings
Spearhead a relatively greenfield Professional Services spend, driving strategic procurement initiatives across HR, Finance, Legal, Tax, Audit, Risk Management, Consulting & Contingent Labour sub-categories
Work collaboratively with market leading suppliers and customer stakeholders to identify and execute continuous cost and performance improvement strategies
Ensure the value of supplier management is understood within these high-profile categories to maximise value beyond the pre-contract procurement phases
Required candidate background:-
Significant Professional Services category management experience with previous dealings across Finance, Legal, Consultancy spend areas
Proven procurement, strategic sourcing & category management skills gained from a progressive procurement career within large FTSE 100 employers
Impressive achievements detailed on CV, including cost savings, risk mitigation, supplier consolidation, strategic vendor partnerships established etc.
Degree & MCIPS preferred though not essential
