What’s the purpose of role:
Working alongside our team of procurement specialists, your role is key as you take responsibility for the entry of data into our procurement systems. Supporting the strategic sourcing and category management, by providing accurate material and specification data. This requires attention to detail, and working with the Analytics Manager, the development of reporting capability of the procurement function, aiding forecasts and tracking.

What you’ll be doing:
Supporting the senior team in the delivery of the overall procurement business strategy, with direct accountability for data entry into SAP & especs and analysis
Improve processes by the introduction of new technology, supplier portals and smart forms
Engage vendors on range and pricing, ensuring accuracy and up to date data, aligned with vendors own systems
SAP, act as guardian of data integrity in SAP
Support the greater procurement team in the use of SAP and especs
Work with the IT team to develop procurement functionality in SAP, focus areas should be Samples, K orders, data integrity, reporting and electronic trading * backup supply – develop uses of inherent functionality of the system rather than change requests
Work to smooth processes out with Costings in a collaborative way
Set up and manage process for nominated lines update on SAP – working with Analytics Manager
Harness technology to introduce workflow and speedier reporting for all procurement interaction with internal and external stakeholders
Ensuring suppliers are providing up to date information
Adhering to company compliance procedures and the development and implementation of functional processes, guidelines, policies and projects relative to accountable category activities
