Due to continuous growth we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an Procurement Coordinator at Hinkley Point C.



The Procurement Coordinator plays an integral role within the organisations, acting as the linchpin between various departments and external suppliers to ensure the smooth acquisition of goods and services needed for operations. This position requires a keen eye for detail and strong negotiation skills to secure high-quality materials at the best possible prices. By managing requisitions and purchase orders, maintaining relationships with suppliers, and constantly analysing market trends, the Procurement Coordinator ensures that the company's supply chain operates efficiently and cost-effectively. Their efforts directly support the organization's ability to meet project deadlines, adhere to budgets, and ultimately achieve its operational goals. You will be part of a great team, who are supportive and friendly.



What we can offer you:




  • Salary starting from �27,400 - depending on experience.�

  • Annual leave of 25 days per year + Bank Holidays.

  • 8.5% Bonus

  • Shift pattern working 9 days across 2 weeks (Monday - Friday on week one then Monday - Thursday on week two)

What we need from you:




  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms for products and services.

  • Manage and process requisitions to delivery, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to assess procurement needs and specifications.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and quality supply chain.

  • Resolve issues related to shipment errors, quality discrepancies, and invoice mismatches.



Qualifications experience




  • At least two/three years' experience in a procurement role

  • CITB Ops HS&E Test (Must be completed before start date)
