Procurement Coordinator

Procurement Coordinator / Yeovil / �18 per hour

Our client are seeking a highly organised and motivated Procurement Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing the procurement processes and ensuring the timely delivery of materials, parts, and services to support production needs and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Raising, amending, and maintaining purchase orders to support offload and main stream procurement functions.
• Coordinating product and service delivery to meet customer expectations and departmental standards.
• Regularly reviewing the order book and ensuring forecasting accuracy.
• Managing blocked invoices and ensuring timely clearance.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry developments and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
• Organising and managing supplier KPI reviews and technical resolution meetings.
• Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure priorities are met.

Ideal person:

• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
• Experience with procurement processes and systems (experience with SAP is a plus).

This is a 12 month temporary contract with the potential to extend

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
