Procurement Contract Manager (Public Sector) Location: Home Based 50,000 - 55,000 Car Allowance + Bonus + Excellent BenefitsRole ProfileOur client is a forward-thinking public sector organisation with a commitment to excellence and innovation.Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now seeking two talented and tenacious Contract Managers to join their existing Procurement team.You will be working for an organisation headquarters in the North West, although this role is fully remote. The position will suit those who thrive working from home and who can commit to regular UK business travel as required (on average 20% travel).If you are a Contracts Manager or a Supply Chain Manager looking for a varied and dynamic new opportunity, then read on! CommissionKey responsibilities include:Overseeing the administration, execution, and management of high value contracts.Ensuring newly agreed contracts are implemented successfully, mitigating risks and effectively managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.Utilising project management expertise to facilitate the smooth execution of contracts which contribute to the achievement of wider organisational objectivesDriving efficiencies and maximising value throughout the life of each contract, identifying opportunities for savings, innovation and process improvementManaging supplier performance through reporting of KPIs and by conducting regular supplier business reviewsQualifications and ExperiencePrevious contract management/ supply chain management experience, preferably in the public sectorKnowledge / understanding of public sector procurement regulationsProven track record in maximising value and driving efficiencies throughout the contract life cycleStrong negotiation and communication skillsHoned stakeholder engagement and relationship management skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesRemuneration 50,000 to 55,000 plus car allowance, uncapped commission and excellent benefits package.About Cast UKCast UK is a leading executive consultancy, providing national recruitment solutions to both clients and candidates.
