Procurement Category Manager - Net Zero

Your new company An award-winning procurement organisation in Warrington is seeking an experienced procurement manager / category manager with a strong background in either net zero, decarbonisation or sustainability, to join their growing team. The business is investing heavily in their newest category 'Net Zero', so there's never been a better time to join the company, especially if sustainability is high on your agenda.Your new role As Category Manager, you will lead and manage net zero carbon related spend across all the company's customers and supplier base. The role will provide expertise in both procurement and supply chain management within the net zero category. The role requires the development and delivery of strategies for growth across a diverse range of products and services and providing advice and support to customers in the establishment of contracts, specifically focusing on commercial and customer benefits. The role requires a capacity for project management, analysis, leadership, teamwork and initiative. You will support the delivery of tailored procurement solutions and will manage the full end to end tendering process within this category.
