Your new role
The key purpose of this role is to oversee the management of key contracts, strategic sourcing and business as usual procurement activities for the assigned Directorate with a view to maximising value for money. This will be achieved by ensuring the Procurement Policy is understood and followed by the key stakeholders within the business and that supplier performance management processes are put in place to promote and achieve this.

What you'll need to succeed
Educated to degree level in related field or equivalent. Ideally Chartered or working/willing to work towards being chartered member of CIPS. An excellent team player who excels in developing relationships with critical stakeholders.
Experience of end to end tendering process, managing commercial contracts in a public sector (ideally Utility Contracts Regulations) environment is essential. Highly articulate and analytical and proficient IT skills including MS-Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Desirable to have relevant qualifications/experience in Legal Contracts Management.
