Job Title: Procurement Assistant

Locations: Atherstone (South Birmingham)

Utilise expertise to support category analysis, identifying cost savings, efficiency's, and innovations in the supply base.
Lead the end-to-end tender process alongside the National Procurement Manager
Initial stakeholder engagement & base-lining
Definition of sourcing requirements
Market research & engagement with suppliers
Management of tender build, launch, and process
Evaluation and analysis post-tender
Shortlisting of suppliers
Negotiation of commercial & contractual terms
Final evaluation and analysis
Selection of suppliers
Recommendation and award of contracts
Proactively interrogate spend data to uncover cost reduction opportunities.
Negotiate contractual terms and conditions.
Implement Supplier Relationship & Contract Management practices with strategic partners.
Assist in the development of category strategies with the National Procurement Manager.
Coordinate effectively with Global Procurement colleagues in Vienna on pan-European procurement programs.Ideal Candidate:

Background in Procurement, Indirect Buying
Experience in Retail, FMCG procurement
Demonstrated track record of achieving business savings.
Proficiency in commercial and contractual negotiations, including drafting and negotiating terms and conditions.
