We are currently seeking a Procurement Assistant for our client based in Dyce. This would be an ideal position for someone looking to build on a career in Procurement. Although some experience will be required, this position will offer training and development to enhance and progress your career.
- Build and maintain good relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Communicate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams such as sales, marketing, accounts, and warehouse
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Ensure all supplier price increases are updated on SAGE as well as customer specific pricing
- Monitor stock levels on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
- Amend and manage stock levels
- Finalise purchase order details and deliveries.
- Progress and expediate outstanding orders
- Assist sales team on special order items and ensure suggested suppliers list is updated regularly.
- In conjunction with sales team, ensure all bespoke artwork approvals are filed
- Ensure all supplier price lists and MOV are up to date and saved
- Ensure vendor qualifications are carried out on all new and existing suppliers for ISO audit purposes.
- Ensure all Iso requirements are met, NCR records are raised, maintained, and retained.
- Assist with stock take.
- Prepare and present procurement updates at fortnightly comms meeting.
