Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Procurement and Contracts Manager for our clients based in Birmingham. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Technical Services, this role will be responsible for ensuring management and implementation of the Procurement Strategy and Policy.



Procurement and Contracts Manager responsibilities:



Engage with departmental budget holders to develop their annual procurement plans



Provide assistance and support on best practice procurement across the company



Maintaining and monitoring the contracts register



Liaising with budget holders to check status of contracts



Procurement and Contracts Manager Details:



Salary: �45,000 PA + �1,680 Car Allowance



Schedule: 37 hours per week



Location: Birmingham



Procurement and Contracts Manager requirements:



Experience of managing and engaging with stakeholders



Management of high value and strategic contracts for works, goods, and services.



Knowledge of procurement and contracts law



Experience of risk management and implementation strategies during the procurement lifecycle



Experience in significant procurement, commercial and contractual as well as supplier selection, negotiation, delivering cost savings and process efficiencies.



Professional qualification or a degree in a relevant subject and membership of a professional body i.e: CIPS
