We are currently looking for a Process Technologist to join a global chemical manufacturers based in the Oxfordshire area. As the Process Technologist you will be responsible for taking the R&D organization's product prototype, creating a solid manufacturing production process, creating a product specification, and overseeing the first commercial productions.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Process Technologist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Assure the processes scalability by assisting with plant trials conducted by other parties and offering technical assistance for prompt root cause analysis identification.
2. Help the technical workforce embrace a digitalized approach by integrating lab rig automation and data-rich reactions to enhance and expand our capabilities.
3. Oversee the New Product Development division for the MFT stage gate procedures that pertain to it.
4. Work together with cross-functional teams to accomplish functional technology implementations and process improvements while serving as the plants' interface with technology.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Process Technologist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or Chemistry.
2. Proven industry experience in the areas of organic and polymers but not only in those domains, as well as statistical methodology.
3. Experience of analytical techniques and applying them to the process/product development.
