Process Technician

Jenrick Engineering are currently recruiting for a Process Technician on behalf of a leading foundry within the steel and iron castings industry. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who is from a foundry background and looking to progress their career. Offering a salary c£30k with potential to be higher depending on experience. You will work closely with the Technical Manager ensuring you receive ongoing training as you undertake varied end-to-end project work.

As a Process Technician, the role will involve:
Working within a Casting Foundry as well as some work within the Laboratory (green sand)
Some test work depending on work load - then analysing the data
Calibrating machinery weekly (roughly one a day)
React to tests - hourly tests are required on site
0600 - 1600 shifts with a 30 minute paid break
As a Process Technician you will have the following experience:
Previously worked within a Foundry
Experience as a Process Technician / Laboratory Technician with green sand
Strong communication skills - ability to work alone as well as working as part of a team
Non-negotiable - experience of working with green sand and within a foundry
